This page was started after I struggled to navigate my son through his Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis journey. You can read our story here: Autism Awareness Week. Charlie's Story. — Advocating For Charlie
Charlie is an incredible beautiful boy with a mix of diagnosis and additional needs. There’s something about Charlie and I didn’t know what, all I knew was he was different to my other children. I struggled to find the answers I needed in order to support him the best way that I could to ensure he lived his best life. I wouldn’t change him for the world.
This page will hopefully help others on their journey too, that is my aim to build a supportive community, share our stories and signpost people to the help and the support they need. It has been published in black and white, to reduce busyness and symbolise literal thinking “seeing things in black and white”. Hopefully by not having so much traffic on the pages, it will be as ASD friendly as I can make it.

As we develop, hopefully we will have more platforms to support people.
Thanks for supporting our journey!
